If I’d kept driving
It had gone, leaving colors and dew dripping on me.
If I’d kept driving, Where would I be?
Who would have cared, who would’ve seen?
If I’d kept driving--I’d still be me.
I just wouldn’t be Here, and, nor, There would I be.
As I kept driving, the rainbow flashed then faded away.
I looked for it again but could not see. It had gone, leaving colors and dew dripping on me.
If I’d kept driving, it wouldn’t matter either way.
I just kept driving wishing to find me.
It didn’t work and probably never will,
For I am Here, so There I cannot be.
